terms and conditions are revised and effective as of

read these terms and conditions carefully. By clicking "I have read

(Interactive Mapping Application), you agree to the following:
Electronic
Communication Agreement
You
agree to the following:
YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT. DO NOT SHARE
YOUR USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD WITH OTHERS.
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality
of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and
you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your
account or password. Harris County reserves the right to refuse service,
terminate accounts, remove or edit content in its sole discretion.
COPYRIGHT.
All copyrighted content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos,
button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and
software, is the property of Harris County and protected by international
copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the
exclusive property of Harris County, with copyright authorship for this collection
by Harris County, and protected by international copyright laws.
LICENSE AND SITE ACCESS.
Harris County grants you a limited license to access and make use of this
site. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this
site or its contents. Any downloading or copying information for the
benefit of another entity or merchant is expressly prohibited. This site
or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold,
resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without
express written consent of Harris County Commissioners’ Court. Any
unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by Harris
County. This site is subject to change without notice.
ELECTRONIC
COMMUNICATIONS. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and
other communications that Harris County provides to you electronically satisfy
all legal requirements that such communications be in writing.
APPLICABLE LAW.
By using this site, you agree that the laws of the State of Texas, United
States of America, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will
govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise
between you and Harris County.
DISPUTES. Any dispute relating in any way to
your use of this site shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in the
County of Harris, State of Texas, United States of America, except to the
extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Harris County’s
intellectual property rights, Harris County may seek injunctive or other
appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the State of Texas, United
States of America, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such
courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the
rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The
arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any
court of competent jurisdiction.

are combined within this application. Information concerning the age
(vintage) and source of each data set is available by clicking the “i” button
next to each data layer. The ATS Team is working with each data provider
to provide the most accurate, timely, and relevant data available. Please
help the ATS Team and the original data providers by suggesting data updates
and corrections to the email below.
